NEW YORK CITY – February 4, 2020 — Hana, a subsidiary of CBRE Group, Inc., today announced it has partnered with Silverstein Properties to design, build and manage a shared, flexible workspace at 3 World Trade Center (3WTC). Hana will occupy 85,000 square feet of the building across two floors, including space for its new headquarters. It will be Hana’s first location in the city of New York.
The latest building to open at the World Trade Center in Downtown Manhattan, 3WTC is instantly recognizable by its iconic “K” steel frame, and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and 360 degree views of the city. The lobby provides direct in-building access to 12 subways and adjacent retail including world-renowned restaurants and lunch spots, shops, fitness facilities and more. Additionally, 3WTC is home to some of the world’s premier companies.
“We’re thrilled to launch a flexible workspace in 3 World Trade Center to serve the area’s many high-growth companies and larger enterprises, and to call it home for our headquarters,” said Andrew Kupiec, CEO of Hana. “The building’s unique architecture gives our team an incredible base from which to build a workspace that offers unparalleled productivity and performance in the midst of incredible scenery and a variety of live, work and play solutions.”
“Hana offers a new approach to flexible workspaces, one which we are excited to present to current and future tenants at the World Trade Center,” said Jeremy Moss, Executive Vice President, Leasing at Silverstein Properties. “We’re delighted to welcome Hana to 3WTC and look forward to working together going forward.”
Hana’s core offering is called Hana Team, which provides private suites that include office space and meeting rooms to meet the needs of high-growth organizations and large corporate users. Hana Team combines the benefits of flexible space with the amenities, technology, thoughtful space design, and control over branding and culture that corporations require. Each Hana location also features two other integral offerings, Hana Meet and Hana Share. Hana Meet provides conference room and event space that can be reserved on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. Hana Share provides traditional co-working space in which users share services, amenities and technology in a communal setting.
Since launching the company in late 2018, Hana has opened locations in Dallas, Irvine, CA and London, with many more expected to open throughout 2020.
